Deadlines and forms

Below, please see the key deadlines and forms you need to be aware of to help maximise your Web Summit experience.

Key deadlines

  • Friday, November 6: This is the deadline by which partners must confirm the attendance of all startups. Startups must share company details via the startups information form provided by your partner success manager.
  • Friday, November 27: Assign your allocated tickets to all attendees by this date in order to ensure you don’t miss out on our newsletter highlighting event features, or on information relating the event.  Download the Web Summit mobile and web apps to access the tickets.
Startup packages

What’s included in your startup package:

  • Three event tickets for each attending startup.
  • Company branding on the Web Summit website.
  • Access to:
    • Mentor Hours
    • Investor Meetings
    • Startup masterclasses
    • 40 words
  • Opportunity to apply for PITCH startups competition, applications close October 29.
  • Use of the event app, which combines your schedule, your contact network and an info hub.
  • Access to all event channels and 100+ hours of live-streamed content.
  • A dedicated startup success manager to help manage your event experience.

The criteria for exhibiting startups:

  • Must be less than five years old.
  • Must have a unique software product or solution, or be working on their own connected hardware devices.
  • Must be an independent company and not a subsidiary of a larger organisation.
  • Must be launched and ‘live’, with a working website.
  • Must have a logo available in .eps or vector format.

Consultancies, agencies, developers, marketing/advertising agencies and public companies will not be accepted. Startups applying to exhibit at Web Summit as part of a delegate package cannot already be registered at the event, and are not qualified as startups if they have raised more than US$3 million in funding.

Partners with unsuccessful startup applications will be given the opportunity to find replacements within a timeline agreed with their dedicated startup success manager.

If a partner still has any unused startup packages by November 6, these will be exchanged for three general attendee tickets.

Tickets

Each Web Summit ticket can only be used once per attendee and is valid for the duration of the event.

Please assign your allocated tickets to all attendees by Friday, November 27  in order to ensure you don’t miss out on our newsletter highlighting event features, and other information.

To assign your Web Summit tickets:

  • Please follow the link that your partner success manager has sent you; this will bring you to the “My orders” section on the ticket dashboard.
  • From here, click on “Manage tickets”

  • Fill in the name and email of each ticket holder.
  • Each ticket holder will receive an email requesting that they confirm their personal details.

Reassigning a ticket:

  • You can reassign your tickets if someone can no longer attend.
  • Please ensure that you allocate all your tickets as soon as possible. This will allow you to create your Web Summit profile and start networking with other attendees sooner.
