Forms and deadlines

Please submit your workshop content using this form here.

The deadline to submit this form is Friday, September 27.

What is a workshop?

Workshops are a chance for our global partners to engage with our attendees in an interactive and intimate environment. It allows our partners to curate content for Web Summit attendees in private and dedicated space.

Workshops can run for a half day, full day, or for the full duration of the event. They give our partners the chance to position themselves as industry thought-leaders in front of a targeted audience, while also generating quality leads.

What is included as part of your workshop?
  • Wide screen smart TV
  • A single internet enabled network cable
  • HDMI cable (5m)**
  • One trestle table
  • Chairs per capacity
  • Roving mic (2)
  • Basic 2 speaker setup
  • One multi-board plug socket
  • Drinking water

**Please bring any other cables you may require beyond a HDMI (ie. thunderbolt etc.)

Curating an incredible workshop including forms and deadlines
  • Use your time wisely. When running a 90-minute workshop, avoid presenting your content in one 90-minute block. Consider splitting your content into two 45-minute blocks and allow time for networking and Q&A with your attendees. Please see below some suggested schedules:

  • Avoid sales pitches at all costs. Attendees don’t like them and they don’t work. Workshops are an opportunity to position yourself as a thought-leader – curated, engaging, quality and topical content is a must.
  • Remember to use your Web Summit app to collect the details of all those who attend.
  • Workshop rooms are typically arranged in a theatre style, but if you would prefer a different layout, please discuss with your partner success manager in advance.
  • To ensure your workshop gains the most exposure in the lead up to the event, please submit a brief overview of your content here at your earliest convenience.*
  • Please advise your workshop speaker to complete their app profile in advance of the workshop as this will feature in the schedule.

*All content is subject to approval
