Branding

Branding provided

  • Online branding
    • Stage content will be available on the event schedule, the event mobile app and online.
  • On stage branding
    • Holding slide on screen on stage can be dual-branded with yours and Web Summit’s logo.
    • Please note: pull up/pop up banners are not permitted.
    • Overhead – screens can be changed.

Brand guidelines

PITCH branding will remain on stage at all times along with the holding slide on stage. Any additional branding suggested by the partner must be submitted by Friday, October 11 and approved by the Web Summit design team.

Stage content
  • The following must be confirmed by Wednesday, September 25:

    • Title (approx. 6 words)
    • Description (less than 100 words)
    • Running order* of the stage content
  • Presentations will be checked by the stage AV team in advance. This must be submitted at least two weeks before event opening. Failure to submit on time may lead to issues with the presentation on the day.

*Running order. Please include:

  • Name of the MC. Does your MC want to use a holding slide while on stage?
  • Name of the time manager – this must be managed by the partner
  • Timing of each speech/presentation
  • Names of presenters/team presenting
Judges (if applicable)
    • Judges will have access to 4 x handheld microphones
    • Access to 4 x chairs onstage
Things to consider
  • Assign a stage MC to manage the speakers and keep everything running smoothly.
  • Time management – please assign a dedicated time keeper on your team.
  • Send all content to the Web Summit team in advance so the AV team can check presentations on the stage screen.
  • Presentations work best on PowerPoint or Keynote in 16 x 9. We do not accept PDFs.
  • Avoid sales pitches at all costs. Attendees don’t like them and they don’t work. This is an opportunity to position yourself as a thought leader – curated, engaging, high quality and topical content is a must.
  • If it is a competition:
    • Consider how the judges will score the participants. Are you bringing scorecards?
    • Judges’ deliberation. If the judges need time and space to deliberate they can use the space behind/beside the stage. Please do not leave the stage empty at any time.
